AbleCommerce Released Improved Version “7.0.7″

Good news for our existing as well as new customers, AbleCommerce 7.0.7 release is available today!  With support for Asp.Net 4.0 and new admin features like a Payment Manager and an Order Notes Manager.

AbleCommerce has recently released a new, improved version 7.0.7 which has a good number of features and fixes some bugs present in the previous versions. AbleCommerce is already a complete ecommerce software with a good number of features that allows merchants to sell good online and also has several checkout systems integrated.

List of New Features & Improvements in AbleCommerce 7.0.7:

Some of the new features are as follows:

  • Add a Payment Manager
  • Add a Facebook Like widget
  • Incorporate Abandoned Basket Alert Ability
  • Implement Order Notes Manager
  • Implement a better CMS / webpage manager

Some improvements of this software are as follows:

  • Report for Washington State Taxes to show tax by location code
  • Upgrade integrated providers solution files to VS2008
  • Move USPS services list to external file
  • Incorporate new Admin Theme
  • Enable support for ASP.NET / .NET 4.0
  • Provide a link to new Content manager from the Edit and Add WebPages
  • Include new Abandoned Basket email

    Hello Adeel,

    Would it be possible to do a blog post on the new features in this release. Maybe a description/screenshots of the Payment Manager, Order Notes Manager, and CMS Manager? Just wanting to see whats different between the Payment/Order Notes Managers and CMS Manager that we have now and the new features.

    Since upgrading from 7.0.6 to 7.0.7 our site has been really slow. Our host service tech has checked and there is nothing he can see with the server but noticed the cart process is burning up something like a full gig of memory. He believed there is something keeping the cart from starting properly. He also did some reading on the forum that there could be an error not caught causing it to continually fill up memory and crash. Has anyone else had problems or seen this? And do you have any suggestions?

    Since leaving my first comment April 20th on here, the forum, and finally a Support Case, I’ve heard nothing from AbleCommerce on our problem. We are up to 15,000 errors in our error log that all seem to be caused by the same problem. They are all time out errors or thrown memory error. Around 1,000 errors a day.
